Properties

LUISO W35 is an odorless solvent-free insulating paste for gas carburization. It offers optimal protection against carburizing depths of up to 5 mm. The insulating paste is supplied with spreadable.

Application:

At the beginning, Luiso W35 is briefly stirred and applied evenly with a flat brush. One coat is enough. The drying time of Luiso W35 is 30 minutes. If the metal surface is still visible after drying, a second coat is recommended. In order to prevent the paste from evaporating, the delivery containers must be sealed well after use. Luiso W35 can be diluted with water up to 2% as required. You don’t need a special thinner!

The heat treatment with Luiso W35 should not exceed temperatures of 1050 °C.

After the heat treatment, the Luiso W35 residues must be removed by sandblasting.

Packaging

Luiso W36 is delivered in PP containers with 1 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg

Storage

Luiso W36 is sensitive to frost. Storage at room temperature is useful for better handling. Opened cans must be sealed airtight after use. The insulating paste can be stored for up to one year.
