Features

LUMAST D2 is an alkaline hot degreasing and cleaning agent and is particularly suitable for pre-treatment of all of the iron, cast iron, and steel grades:

– hardened and tempered
– tempered
– Carbo-nitrided
– vacuum hardened
– induction-hardened
– gasnitrierte
– nitro carburierte
– vacuum-quenched and tempered
tool steels,
grey cast iron, cast steel
– alloys based on copper and brass

Application:

LUMAST D2 is not emulsifying and has solvency of a good dirt and Grease. It is eco-friendly because it contains no phosphates, silicates, sulfates, and complexing agents, and therefore well tolerated with a standard neutralization and detoxification systems.

LUMAST D2 contains surfactants, which are at least 90% biologically degradable. Light metals can not be cleaned.

Danger note

LUMAST D2 to be corrosive. When dealing with this material, the regulations of the professional Association of the chemical industry, as well as the EC-safety data sheet must be observed.

Storage

LUMAST D2 is supplied in 25 kg bags and is stored in dry conditions. The degreasing agent is up to 10 years.
